euro_cup Rafa cant go I'M not having a yes man as our manager

some real idiots around has it not clicked gillet and hicks dont wont to spend money on lfc the only time rafas been given a large amount is when hes demanded it in public.

Who actully thinks there'll apoint someone else who'd challenge them on lack of funds no chance if there still here the next manager will be nothing but a PR man for hicks and gillet.

It's getting very difficult to defend Rafa with every passing defeat, the team is abysmal without Torres and Gerrard, it's starting to feel like Houllier's last season.

They would appoint someone who they believe would get results to maximise profit. We are losing more then we are winning at the moment, we face the very real possibility of not reaching the last 16 of the Champions League and not making it in next year which would effectively break the bank.

If a yes man can improve us he could be worth considering.

i believe rafa is doing the best job he can with the resources given to him.
voronin may not be liverpool quality and often does not look like he even wants to play but if rafa had the funds to get in a better player than him, then i'm sure he would do.

Why is it that every time Benitez makes disastrous decisions which prove to be the main factors for us losing games and ground on the so called top teams, that people start going on about Hicks and Gillette? This has got nothing to do with those two. We have enough players at the club to go to places like Fulham and win, never mind come away with a point. I'm no fan of Hicks and Gillettte, but even if they were to pack up and leave tomorrow and hand our club over to other owners, some people would still find a reason to deflect the attention away from the boss simply because they can't change their mind now after giving it large in his favour for so long.

This idiot was making mistakes long before the yanks came but now he has someone the fans dislike to blame and get them off his back. He needs to go and Real Madrid would pay the £20mill to take him off our hands. So what are they waiting for??????

yeh i cant believe hicks and gillette demanded to take torres and benayoun off for a young kid and a lazy under achiever. how can rafa cope with instructions like that? having owners that buy all the players and pick he starting eleven is not working. In all fairness, we were doing ok until dirks mistake, and the first red card was harsh, still, just not good enough, rafas more to blame than anyone else and the owners are to blame for a lot, what does that say?

I hope that the new owners will seriously evaluate the Manager as well. Giving Rafa further millions could be a disaster.

Rafa to stay.

owners to go,some owners who deliver what they promise to come in.

dregs of the squad to go, less useless players, more quality players in by January. voronin babel shouldnt have to be used, pray gerrard, reira johnson, aurelio, agger, aquilani all are fit and not ill from viruses for rest of season.

our top Players to come back from injury soon!!!.

maybe a bit of luck with referee decisions, and luck with chances scoring.

A balanced argument is still required..... IMO I think Rafa has had the opportunity to mould a team together in his 5 years, and this doesn't appear to have been to successful...

However, the takeover and the initial promise of money, the uncertainty, the lack of stability and security may not have helped Rafa to much...

I don't want to look at blaming anyone, however...

again, IMO, I honestly feel that Rafa's 'ideology' of football is not suited to the prem. I don't think the system he believes in will EVER be successful in england...

And, because of this, I think (playing one up front) puts extra pressure on other players (gerrard et al ) to sacrifice ability for physical exhaustion.....leading to excessive injuries...

In being completely honest, watching liverpool every week, I always get the feeling we have to work 'extra-hard' to dominate a game or score a goal...(more so than most teams i feel) and this has a major impact on fitness....

So, as a balanced argument, I think it's time for a change of ethos/ideology...........and therefore, unfortunately (hard to admit this)....this requires......

A NEW MANAGER
