Arsenal are always good at thrashing weaker teams at home and their problem has always been the tough away games.
For me their biggest performance was the 1-0 win away to Fulham - not the thrashings of smaller teams at home. In the Fulham game they were really dogged - they played poorly and won which is a rarity for them. If they can add that character to their game more consistently, they will be a threat. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the tougher challenges that come up. When they played away to Man U, they should have won comfortably - same with the man city away game. They thrashed Everton away. I do think they look more solid and a better all round team than before. The test for Arsenal isnt to list all their attacking players because thats not ever been a problem. They have them in abundance. With Gallas finding his form, and Vermaelen looking good, that is a bigger step in my opinion. They desperately need a better keeper than Almunia. In one game against Fulham, Mannone did more than I've ever seen Almunia do. Almunia rarely makes any saves. Clichy and Sagna are very good full backs too. Will also be interesting to see how the likes of Song, Denilson and Diaby develop |

They always look good in September or October...let's see how awesome they are in February and March when its cold and dreary out, and their youthful prodigies are getting in dogfights every other day. Spurs is everybody's favorite team in July and August...Arsenal is everyone's favorite team in September and October. Strangely, no one is talking about them come April. And by the end of May, they have something in common. No trophies. |

Indeed. They have goals all over the pitch and what a player Arshavin is.

Imagine Wenger having the backing of RA or Abu Dhabi or even the backing Benitez has received. Benitez seems more or less blind to talent.
Wenger is the best team builder in the PL by far. |

Wenger has a different style and phylosophy to football Rafa has a different style and phylosophy As to who is the best - well it is difficult to judge becuase on the one side when rafa came to LFC he had a lot of rebulding to do and at the same time had the pressure of winning the PL When Wenger came to Arsenal he did not have that much of a rebuilding to do - instead he perhaps had to add one or two players and had to change the style to his style of football In terms of control and budgets - Wenger got both but at the time we did not know but he does not like to spend too much Wenger is very good at man mangement and has patience to see his team develope and evolve Rafa - well I think Moores and Parry backed him in terms of providing him with transfer budgets but my view is if you give 100 million one season it will still not be enough Rafa is not a patience man and I do not think he is good at man management Success - well rafa has won the European cup and the F A Cup since he came to LFC and Wenger has won ziltch so depends how you see it |

We should have bought Arshavin with the money we blew on Keane, if we did that I recon we'd be the Champions at the moment.
